Supporting Local Non-Profits
Lauren’s Foundation is proud to provide support to other local nonprofits to help them with their stated goals by conducting fundraising events on their behalf and by providing donations for special events. Annual contributions are made to the Opportunity House of Reading to support their mission to empower individuals to improve their lives. We also support the work done by the John Paul II Center for Special Learning and their programs that serve children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, we support the IM ABLE Foundation and their mission to empower individuals with disabilities to “move, thrive and connect,” by participating in volunteer capacities and by supporting special events.
At our annual Fitzy’s Halloween Run event, Drexel University Medical School in West Reading provides health awareness activities through their Cutting Edge Anatomy Club; Health Outreach Program (HOP); and promotes Breast Cancer Awareness month.
